Schneider Electric Circuit Breakers and Consumer Units

Schneider are a well known brand for most breakers and consumer units. Big names in the steel and machine industry in the 19th century, the Schneider brothers went on to help found Schneider & Cie, becoming big names in the armaments business. In 1891, the company launched itself into the emerging electricity market.

Throughout their extensive history, Schneider acquired some well known brands and makes including Merlin Gerin, Pelco, Square D and Telemecanique.
