Orders with a NEXT DAY or greater service selected, will be sent and prioritised by carriers but the delivery date is not guaranteed.
This is still a paid-for service and refunds will not be processed for deliveries deemed late.
As from Monday 30th March 2020 we will be offering a local delivery covering Brighouse and Burnley areas, this is for trade account customers only. Our objective is to deliver by 18.00hrs any telephone or email orders placed before 11.30hrs that day. Orders placed between 12.30hrs and 16.00hrs will be delivered in the morning the following day. For now, we feel that we have an effective procedure that will allow our drivers to safely deliver goods without fear of mutual contamination. Prior to delivery our sales staff will explain the procedure in detail.
Unfortunately, our drivers have no facility to take payment, so this service is strictly limited to trade customers with credit facilities.
We will endeavour to support everyone the best we can, but please understand we are experiencing issues with supply. For obvious reasons preference will be given to customers working on breakdowns and doing essential maintenance. Whilst we can only offer one delivery a day per customer, we appreciate your support and will not insist on any minimum order value. We understand from recent conversations that you may only need one or two items to finish a job to allow you to get paid. If you are doing NHS work which is vital for sustaining continuity of care or you have a maintenance contract for businesses such as a care home, we have set up a free of charge out of hours delivery service, this is just for emergency breakdowns. The trade counters at both Burnley and Brighouse branches will remain closed with no collections; goods are available by delivery only.
We really appreciate your co-operation and we will support you where we can, should you have any concerns please call us during office hours and we will do everything we can to help.
Lastly at the time of writing 4 staff have self-isolated after showing symptoms of COVID19. Luckily, we think they will soon be back to good health. We are extremely sorry for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your patience during these unprecedented times. Please note we will be temporarily diverting the Brighouse phone lines to our Burnley Branch, but we anticipate a delay in this happening. For all deliveries in Lancashire and Yorkshire please call 01282 448888. Internet orders will be accepted but we cannot give a firm delivery date.
Following the Government’s recent announcement, we have had no option but to temporarily close all our Power Saver branches.
Internet orders will be accepted but at this moment we are unsure about delivery dates. At the time of writing this, some national Electrical Wholesalers have taken the decision to remain open. We are a relatively small, independent company and we will do everything we can to keep our staff safe and healthy plus protect our customers from any potential chance of catching COVID-19 at our branches.
At the end of this week we will re-evaluate the situation. Over the next few days we intend to work within the Government guidelines to adapt our business so we can specifically supply tradesmen and industry. To keep good stock levels for the foreseeable future we will limit any sales to DIY customers.
This decision has not been easy, but the welfare and health of our staff and their families must come first. Thank you for your co-operation.
