What you need to know for delivery and how your items will arrive
We have a same day dispatch order cut-off of 2pm. All orders placed before 2:30pm will be processed and dispatched same day from our warehouse. Orders after this time will be dispatched the following working day. Your items will be dispatched via Royal Mail or DHL depending on the delivery choice you have selected and the size of the parcel. Local orders may be facilitated by our local branches and our delivery vans though we will contact you ahead of dispatch.
We do not show stock levels on our site, all items listed are deemed to be standard stock lines. However, we sometimes sell out of items faster than anticipated. In this rare occurrence we will contact you with an estimated delivery date or to offer a suitable replacement of equal specification.
We offer a free delivery service to UK mainland destinations on all orders over £75 including VAT. This free delivery will be on a 2 working day service; however, if you wish to upgrade this to a priority service, see below.
A carriage charge of £5.99 (Inc VAT) will be chargeable on all orders under £75
Standard delivery times are 24hrs or 48hrs (standard working days) to mainland UK.
Most delivery services do not operate over Bank Holidays and Sundays. So please allow for this when placing your order.
Deliveries to Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, Scilly Islands, Isle of Man, Scottish Islands & Highland areas of Scotland may take up to 72hrs and incur an additional carriage charge, this will be notified to you at time of checkout. Attempts to bypass our checkout system and attain a lesser postage fee than is feasible for the actual delivery location, could result in your order being held until an additional carriage fee is paid.
Bulk deliveries may incur additional charges; we will always notify you of any additional charges if applicable.
An upgraded “priority” delivery service can be selected to expedite your delivery, as below.
Express 24 – Next Working Day Delivery – £6.50
Express AM – Next Working Day – Before Noon – £10.99
Express 10AM – Next Working Day – Before 10AM – £16.99
Saturday Delivery – Delivery on Saturday – £24.99
The services above provide you with tracking information on your parcel from the minute it leaves our warehouse. These do include the option for you to select a preferred delivery day or place, including a local post office or specified neighbour and a range of delivery options including Saturday and Sunday deliveries. We can send tracking details, for items sent on any express service, to the email address or SMS mobile number supplied at the time of payment. Please ensure you enter these correctly at time of order.
For items sent on non upgraded service please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org for tracking details.
Receipt of Item/s
To ensure the safe delivery of your parcel, we need a signature to confirm successful delivery. If there is nobody to receive the parcel, the driver will either attempt delivery to a neighbour or take your parcel to be securely held at the local Post Office or local depot.
If your delivery arrives damaged and appears to have been caused whilst in transit, please sign as “BOX DAMAGED” in the notes section of the driver’s signature area and you should notify our customer service team immediately on 01282 458960 or by email email@example.com
If you have not received your parcel by the expected time, the driver should have left a card stating the location of your parcel. Sometimes, the effect of non-delivery varies between each delivery driver. Dependant on your area, it could be left with a neighbour, in a safe place, securely held at the local Post Office, sent back to the depot or returned to us after multiple delivery attempts. Any of these outcomes are solely down to the driver/depot at the time and it is expected they follow normal procedure for the delivery.
It is expected the delivery address given and postage method selected for your order, will correspond with someone being able to receive the parcel at that location and within that time window. Our carrier hopefully will be able to deliver your parcel with no problems however if no delivery can be made they will leave contact details explaining how you can receive your parcel. After 7 days they will return the delivery to us. Unfortunately we are charged for this and will need to recharge you for re-delivery.
