Accepted payment methods and transaction information

At Powersaver we use Lloyds Cardnet as our primary payment gateway to process your credit/debit card transactions. We do not store any card information on our site, thus all payment information is handled and processed by one of the UK’s leading and most secure payment gateway providers.

All transaction information passed between our site and the gateway’s systems is encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates. No cardholder information is ever passed unencrypted.

You can be completely assured that nothing we pass to the Lloyds Cardnet servers can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information.

Lloyds Cardnet is audited annually under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) and is a fully approved Level 1 payment services provider, which is the highest level of compliance.

In the unlikely event of fraudulent or unauthorised use of your credit card, you must notify your card issuer and our customer service team as soon as you become aware of the unauthorised use of your card.

Alternate payment methods

We accept payment by Paypal. This can be selected on the payment section of the checkout.

We can also accept payment via telephone on 01282 458960 there we can manually take your payment details (which are destroyed as soon as the payment has been processed).

We can also facilitate payment by Cheque, Bank Transfer or Postal order. Please phone our customer services on 01282 458960 to place your order if you wish to pay by one of these methods. (Note funds must clear before delivery will be made).

Please note we reserve the right to refuse any transaction that we deem to be high risk and reserve a further right to request proof of identity or proof of address.
