Traditionally, Catenary wire is a galvanised steel braid / multi stranded rope.

What else do I buy along with Catenary Wire?

Besides the wire, you will also need eye straining screws, wire grips, thimbles and wall plates to secure it between two static points. It must be properly installed, considering factors like weight load and length into account.
